ENEWS: Jia Wu Year of the Horse

IMPORTANT REMINDERS: Jia Wu Year of the Horse 2014

The year of the galloping wooden horse arrived with vigour and full energy during the Winter Solstice on December 22, 2013 at 1711hrs UTC. Many of us who use this event to mark  the time of change of the year’s energy have already observed numerous positive and negative influences of the wooden horse in our daily lives such as accidents, instability, prosperity and obvious “luck” changes that have happened. The well celebrated Chinese Lunar New Year commonly called the “Spring Festival” arrives on January 31, 2014. Like any other year, we can expect millions of migrant workers in China to travel back to their hometowns to celebrate this special occasion with their family and friends. The arrival of spring or “Li Chun” on February 03, 2014 at 2202hrs UTC marks the beginning of Jia/Wu year as practiced by some Chinese masters.

When the wooden horse arrives like any other year, it comes with promises of wealth and good fortune to some and disappointment to others. If your BaZi chart can use the Wu horse positively, you can expect a very auspicious year. To better determine this outcome, you need to study the complete BaZi chart and especially the dynamic state of the “Day Master” and not just the year of birth that is commonly used in practices by most practitioners. If the wooden horse is a favourable year according to your determination, now is an important time to make sure that you and your house or office receives the best qi during the year.

We have posted here the annual and monthly Xuan Kong Flying Stars and the corresponding negative afflictions. We have also included some tips to help make your year of the wooden horse a galloping success!

Xuan Kong Flying Stars for the year of the Horse + month of 04 Feb- 05 Mar 2014

When you are looking to promote fame and enjoy that long overdue recognition for your efforts, please be careful when you want to activate the yearly star #9 in the North sector because of the presence of the “yearly SanSha”. You should be mindful when you do renovation, digging, construction or any activity that would activate the malicious “3Killings” in this area.

If your house sits on the “SanSha” direction, you also need to be extra careful when doing renovations or any type of activity that would activate this energy, in fact, it might be wise to postpone this type of activity for another year. “SanSha” or “3Killings” is one of the most malicious negative afflictions and, if you have to renovate, you will need a knowledgeable Feng Shui Master who knows how to handle this type of situation and can promote your good luck at the same time. According to the outcome of Master Mas’s research and experience, this is achievable! Additionally, he claims that if you use his techniques, you do not have to wait for another year.

You can choose a good date using the “I Ching Luck Diary for 2014” (based on Xuan Kong Da Gua Date Selection method) if you want to activate the Flying Star of fortune #8 because it is much better when your actions are supported by the heaven luck. There are quite a few dates during this period that are good, so your chances of finding your good heaven luck are even better!!! Please remember that the dates have to be good for both the person and the property at the same time. The “general good dates” for certain activities described in the Tong Shu are not good enough for this purpose.

Additionally, your method of activation should be strong enough to affect the energy in the area. If you choose to use the fire element, make sure that it is bright and noticeable. Active blinking red light is preferable permitting your design choice. Because it is located in the South (fire element) and this is the fire year, caution should be taken especially in the Wu month (fire element) when using the fire element to activate the qi.

If you want to activate your education and academic luck this month, you also need to be very careful when you want to activate the monthly star #4 in the N sector because of the presence of the “yearly San Sha”.
(Legend: Blue=San Sha, Red=5 Yellow, Green=Sui Po)

Extreme care should be taken when you want to activate Flying Stars where the afflictions are also located. If you look at the chart below, it tells you the location of the annual San Sha, Sui Po and 5 Yellow. By the way, Master Mas’s XK Flying Stars software can chart the hourly, daily, monthly and yearly afflictions including the corresponding Flying Stars and has been an indispensable tool when we do our Feng Shui audits. Extra care must be taken when activating the Qi in the North sector where the “yearly San Sha” and the “yearly Sui Po” are both present as these may cause unwanted problems. In addition, if you’re already feeling weak and tired and want to avoid getting ill, you should stay away from the NW sector especially this month. This is also not a good place for your young children to play, especially for the boys.

We hope that you found this tips useful to improve your Qi and sincerely hope that you and your family and friends receive the best qi in the year of the horse 2014. Good luck!

Big and Little Dippers: Everything you need to know...

This is a very interesting article from "Earth Sky". I hope they do not mind that I share it here>

"Stars appear fixed over the course of a single human lifetime and even after a thousand years. But when you're talking about long spans of time, the stars slowly but surely change positions on the sky's dome."

Big and Little Dippers: Everything you need to know..
Big Dipper at different times

Kochab and Pherkad guard the North Celestial Pole

In Thales’s day ( c. 620 BCE – c. 546 BCE) , the stars Kochab and Pherkad (rather than Polaris) marked the approximate direction of the north celestial pole – the point in the sky that is directly above the Earth’s North Pole. http://earthsky.org/.../kochab-and-pherkad-guard-the...

Ursa Major and the Big Dipper
GREEK MYTHOLOGY About the Ursa Major or the Great Bear

The Big Dipper is actually just part of a bigger constellation called Ursa Major, or the Great Bear. In Greek mythology, the god Zeus had fallen in love with the maiden Callisto, and got her pregnant. When the child was born, as revenge, Zeus' wife Hera turned Callisto into a bear. Callisto wandered the forest for years in bear form, until a chance meeting with her son, Arcas, who raised his spear to strike at the bear. Zeus stepped in and sent them up to the heavens -- Callisto as the Great Bear and Arcas as Bootes the Herdsman (or Ursa Minor -- the Little Bear -- depending on the story!).

Hera was not pleased by this, however, and conspired with the gods of the sea so that the Bear could never swim in the ocean; this is why Ursa Major never sets.
Things to remember:

  • The Big Dipper is circumpolar, so it is visible year round. But it is highest in the sky in Spring.
  • The pointer stars in the bowl of the Big Dipper always point to Polaris, the North Star.
  • Mizar is an optical double star -- try it!

Feng Shui Mistakes Corrected by Master Mas Using 100% Yin & Yang and Wu Xing Theories

Feng Shui Mistakes Corrected by Master Mas Using Yin & Yang and Wu Xing Theories

The real secret to Master Mas’s outstanding success is that he only uses 100% Yin & Yang and 100% Wu Xing (5 Elements).

If you are new or starting your journey to discover the incredible wisdom held in Chinese Metaphysics, you might not understand this concept fully yet and if you have been immersed in the study of Chinese Metaphysics for a while you have probably realized that there are many inconsistencies and mistakes in theories and many confusing Feng Shui practices. This is old news!

Jiang Da Hong considered by many as the great grandfather of Xuan Kong used poetic language to hide the secrets of his work, Tan Yang Wu who is the Liu Fa theorist made a public apology for his Feng Shui mistakes, Yang Jun Song (commonly called “Yang Gong” or saviour of the poor) who is considered the great grandfather of Feng Shui had hundreds of “wannabee” disciples who distorted his message along the way, and many other Chinese Metaphysics greats have published severe contradictions and inconsistencies in their books available today. To make this short and simple, part of the problem is the way the wisdom is transmitted, the secrecy in the Chinese culture and perhaps the most famous secret saying “Thou shall not divulge the secrets of Heaven”. In addition, we should not forget that the Imperial courts did everything in their power to guard the secrets of Feng Shui and other forms of Chinese Metaphysics to maintain wealth, power and control for themselves to the point of killing Feng Shui masters and publishing books laden with false information. During the time of Chairman Mao Tse Tung, Feng Shui was prohibited although it has been said that Mao himself used this knowledge for his own purpose. Whether deliberate or unintentional, many of these mistakes and discrepancies have been transmitted from one generation to the next over the last few centuries.

You may not be aware but most likely you could be using Feng Shui methods and formulas commonly taught today based on these inconsistent theories which are missing the vital connections with “Yin & Yang” and “Wu Xing”. You might have noticed that many practitioners will try to fit the situation they encounter and their findings into the formulas and theories they learned from their masters. Often, the results they get are just as unreliable as the theories they use, “hit or miss” at best.  Many, in their narrow understanding and insecurity as to the efficacy of the theories they are using, will use in their practice every formula available in the book and hope that some of them will eventually work. In one of Master Mas’s speeches at the International Feng Shui Convention, he called this practice “potluck Feng Shui”. We have also witnessed during our many years of practice hundreds of “symbolic figures” lying on clients’ desks or hanging everywhere in their homes and offices yet in their desperation they still need professional Feng Shui consultation to help them with their existing problem.

“Look to Wu Xing to understand Xuan Kong
Apparently by our great-great-grandmaster Yang Jun Song

So, whether these mistakes and discrepancies in the classical texts and manuscripts available to us today are deliberate or not, we have the responsibility to ourselves and to our clients to remedy these problems and try to find clarity through on-going research and practice. We need to make sure that ALL concepts and theories in Chinese metaphysics comply with the “Yin & Yang” and “Wu Xing” (5 Elements) theories.

"巒頭無假,理氣無真" “Luan-Tou Wu Jia, Li-Qi Wu Zhen.”
“Landform does not lie, formula (Li Qi) does not necessarily tell the truth.”

Master Mas has spent almost three decades of his life researching, learning, testing out theories and decoding hidden secrets of Feng Shui and Chinese Metaphysics. As a result he brought about remarkable new revelations, viewpoints, and understanding of “Space, Time and Qi” which is evident in his authoritative “I Ching Flying Stars Feng Shui” which he developed based on the breakthrough discovery of a whole NEW theory for the “I Ching Bagua”, urban landform theory and application techniques, and space-time study in Xuan Kong Da Gua. He was able to decode and verify the “Auspiciousness of the San Sha Theory”, one of the most guarded secrets in the study of Feng Shui. He confirmed it with more than 1,000 real-life case studies achieving spectacular and consistent results.

Sounds amazing and unbelievable! To be able to do this with success, Master Mas verified and adjusted these exceptionally important vital connections and corrected the identified mismatches related to the “I Ching”, “Yin & Yang” and “Wu Xing” (5 Elements) theories. Without verification of these time-honoured theories we received from our ancestors, he would not have been able to achieve excellent results his clients and students experience.

One good example to illustrate the real effects of these verified vital connections with Yin & Yang and “Wu Xing” theories is the Xuan Kong Da Gua Date Selection which Master Mas used successfully to gain auspiciousness from the “San Sha” or “Three Killings” as it is commonly known. I believe that everyone is in agreement that this is considered one of the strongest negative energies that can cause fatal accidents or even death when wrongly activated. By understanding the real concept of the “San Sha” or “Three Killings” and applying the new and verified Xuan Kong Da Gua Date Selection and Feng Shui theories, he was able to gain auspiciousness from the “San Sha”. If the vital connections of the Yin & Yang were mismatched when synchronizing the "Cosmic Trinity" of Tien-Ren-Di, the results could have been disastrous! He continues to use this technique effectively in his daily practice to avoid and control the negative effects of the yearly, monthly and daily “Feng Shui Afflictions” for doing renovation, moving-in and other similar situations requiring auspicious date selection.

As a testament to our dedication to promoting the real authentic Feng Shui with scientific foundation, all the courses we offer at Master Mas International | Feng Shui Academy [www.mastermasfengshui.com] use only principles and application techniques that have been verified by Master Mas. More importantly you can rest assured that what we teach complies with the forces of nature and adheres to the “Ying & Yang” and “Wu Xing” (5 Elements) theories, the vital connections which are often missing in many other Feng Shui schools. It is our on-going mission to give you the broadest perspective in Chinese Metaphysics available today!
